THE POWER OF VISION AND PURPOSE
The vision for the BBQ is to restore the natural affections of parents that our culture removed, restored back to their baby. We desire babies all over the nation who have been saved from abortion death be honored, along with their parent(s), with a beautiful baby quilt. The BBQ is a powerful tool in the sidewalk counselor's life-saving arsenal to reach and serve abortion-minded expectant mothers and fathers. The evangelism imbedded in the BBQ can further open doors to promote the healing of Jesus Christ and encourage parents who have already experienced prenatal losses to participate in a Rich in Mercy Abortion & Miscarriage Recovery group.
THE POWER OF A QUILT
The BBQ was revealed to Pastor Denise while in prayer. The Lord said: “you never know how a quilt can soften mothers hearts to choose life for their baby. Sometimes it’s the little things that provide the needed push for a parent – especially mothers - to do what they already know is the right thing to do.” Offering expectant abortion-minded mothers a homemade quilt to honor their child helps parents reconnect emotionally with their baby. Quilts break down ambivalence, and incentivize parents to choose life for their precious little one, and where necessary, make a respectful adoption plan. Once reconnected, the sidewalk counselor can further deepen the client relationship, and referrals to a local pregnancy center would become more acceptable. Local centers let expectant mothers know that they'll have the support they need to choose life for their child. Optimally, the quilt can then be presented to the baby's family at a baby shower.
THE POWER OF MOBILITY
Beautiful Baby Quilts for Life collected by our office can be shipped anywhere and can be securely received. Every quilt is protectively packaged and labeled for "Girl", "Boy" or "Boy or Girl" depending on colors for gender appropriateness.
THE POWER OF MAKING A QUILT
We are requesting quilters and quilt shops everywhere to participate in creating beautiful quilts to save babies lives in the U.S. and abroad. The BBQ needs you!

(a) fabrics and/or discounting the cost of basic quilting supplies (thread, machine needles, rotary cutters, mats ad rulers) to participating BBQ quilters;
(b) long arm services for BBQ quilt tops
(3) Donate to the BBQ. All designated donations will be used wisely to save lives and honor babies and their families.
